Mrs. Alfred Blandford shows Gary McKinley an unusual telephone at a party for students of the Idaho State Deaf and Blind School held at the home of Mrs. E. W. McRoberts by the Delta Gamma Alumnae Association. Mr. McKinley sits in a recliner and holds the receiver of the telephone while Mrs. Blandford sits on a couch and adjusts a setting on the cradle. The telephone sits on a small round end table between the couch and recliner. Also on the end table is an ash tray and a lamp. Behind them is a large curtained window, and the backyard is seen through the window.
