Attending Girls State at Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, from Twin Falls, are seated from left to right, Susan Billington, Barbara Barker, Cynthia Ronk, Paula Hawks, and Kathy Lincoln. Standing behind them are three alternate attendees. The girls were selected by the Twin Falls High School faculty and the American Legion Auxiliary of Twin Falls. The group of girls sit around a table looking at a scrapbook. The table is covered in a white tablecloth. Against the back wall is a piano. On top of the piano is a small clock, a centerpiece of a basket of silk flowers, and some lamps. Beside the piano is an end table, a folding chair, and a pair of crutches propped up against the wall. A picture of a bouquet of flowers hangs on the side wall.
