Sweepstakes winners of the Magic Valley Iris Society show held recently at the YMYWCA is Mrs. V. W. Nelson. She received the American Iris Society silver medal certificate for most firsts in the cultural division, and the AIS purple rosettes for the most firsts in the
artistic division and for the best arrangement of the show. The Magic Valley Iris Society awarded her two ceramic iris plates as trophies for sweepstakes prizes. On the display are two vases filled with irises, and an award ribbon is placed in front of one of the vases, reading "American Iris Society Best Arrangement of Show."
