The money was presented to the College of Southern Idaho to be given as a scholarship to a needy and deserving Magic Valley student. Mrs. Latham is dressed in a striped shirts and Mr. Perkins is dressed in a suit and tie.

"Operation Gift Package" is the current project undertaken by the auxiliary in observance of Loyalty Day on the first of May. Packages will be sent to servicemen serving at home and overseas. The candy, made at the home of Mrs. Price, is just one of the items that will be included in the packages. Bags of sugar and bottles of corn syrup are on the table. A kitchen counter and some cabinets are behind them. A window with some colorful drapes is cover the counter. A framed picture hangs on the side wall.
