Description
Sign at the boundary of Devil's Corral, describing the rules and regulations for the animal park that was in Devil's Corral.
The sign reads, "This marks the Boundary of Devil's Corral, Wild Animal Park, situated on the north bank of Snake River, one mile east of the great Shoshone Falls and one mile west of the Twin Falls.
"No one is allowed to enter this Corral except through the gate on the wagon road, and then you are expected to proceed on the road directly to the house, pay the price of admission, $1.00, and procure instructions.
"We will not permit you to bring dogs, guns, or cameras.
"If you obey instructions we will do our best to make it pleasant for you; if not, we will do our best to make you think you are in the real Devil's home.
"We ask you to come and look; treat us as well as we treat you; you will have a good time and help us out, if you don't get the worth of your dollar, we will when we spend it, and we'll appreciate it, so it will be all right anyway.
"We are getting together as many animals as possible, especially those that were once native to Idaho and are now becoming rare.
"We will pay a liberal reward for information as to any damage done to our animals or property."
