Welcome to the TFPL Historical Photograph Collection!
Twin Falls Public Library offers our community access to over 30,000 historical photos, including the Bisbee photos, with subjects such as early Twin Falls and the Magic Valley, development of the Twin Falls Canal system, the Shoshone Falls, and Perrine Bridge construction.
This project is a work in progress and we will be adding new photographs often. If you don't see a photo you know we have, please contact us at tfpl@tfpl.org or at 208-733-2964 ext 200.
Clarence E. Bisbee
Photographs taken of the early Magic Valley and the development of the Twin Falls tract from 1906-1930s.
Notes on accessing the Bisbee Collection:
- Items without confirmed dates are given the date range of 1906-1936, the time period in which Bisbee was an active photographer.
- Items with a prefix "GB" are credited to Bisbee, but were not scanned or digitized from glass plate negatives. Some of them were scanned from the Bisbee scrapbooks and some were found in other publications. We have noted when we cannot confirm the provenance of the photo.
- Items with a prefix "PC" indicate the photos were part of Bisbee's original postcard collection.
Harald E. Gerber
